Controlled section linework

A timber-frame roof, wall, window, and floor section is retained as crisp foreground drawing information. The default branch uses a strictly controlled uppercase callout set without dimensions or reference bubbles.

Interior-only photorealism

A warm, lived-in timber interior is generated or adapted and clipped exclusively to the room void. Books, plants, ceramics, textiles, subtle wear, and an optional candid occupant support a non-CGI result.

QC-led delivery

Preview.jpg and Final.jpg are checked for geometry, mask edges, legibility, realism, and filenames. Optional Runway motion stays behind the static drawing layer.

Static architectural linework remains above an interior-only photoreal insert.

What it does

Photoreal Architectural Section Cutaway Prompt System is a complete, drawing-led visualization workflow for turning an architectural section into a controlled photoreal cutaway. Unlike an interior-image prompt, it runs the entire sequence: it preserves a supplied section drawing or generates a timber-frame default, creates or adapts a lived-in interior image, isolates the room void, composites the photograph behind crisp static linework, checks the result, and returns named still outputs. The default linework branch is deliberately constrained. It generates a timber roof, wall, window, and floor section with exactly 11 uppercase material and assembly callouts, while excluding dimensions, numeric measurements, ticks, detail references, elevation markers, bubbles, and legend clutter. The interior branch is equally controlled: natural timber, books, plants, ceramics, rumpled textiles, small objects, material wear, and an optional candid occupant create a convincing inhabited room rather than a glossy CGI showroom. For motion studies, the included Runway Gen-4.5 Image-to-Video stage animates only the room interior in a 3:4 locked-off 4–6 second clip. The section drawing remains static above the moving image, preserving the architectural reading and annotation hierarchy. The package is suited to concept reviews, material narratives, client presentations, editorial studies, and early visualization of sectional atmosphere. It remains a visual production system: architect review is required for all geometry, assembly, annotation, and downstream project use.

Preview.jpg and Final.jpg of a linework-led architectural section with a photoreal interior confined to room voids, plus optional Final.mp4 with interior-only locked-off motion.

Workflow steps

  1. 01

    1. Set sources and direction

Choose generated or uploaded section linework, generated or uploaded interior imagery, still or video delivery, and project direction.

    Required product access

  2. 02

    2. Generate and composite

Run the autonomous ChatGPT Images prompt to create or preserve the section and produce the interior-only composite.

  3. 03

    3. Review still outputs

The prompt checks geometry, masking, callout rules, realism, and export names before returning Preview.jpg and Final.jpg.

  4. 04

    4. Create optional motion clip

For video mode, use the embedded Runway Gen-4.5 stage to animate only the interior behind static linework and export Final.mp4.

  5. 05

    5. Complete architect review

Have an architect review visualized geometry, assembly intent, labels, and appropriateness before downstream use.

Limitations + professional safety

Low risk · human review required

Architect review is required for section geometry, assembly intent, callout accuracy, visual appropriateness, and any downstream use. The workflow is not technical documentation or construction verification.

Jurisdiction: Not jurisdiction-specific

Known limitations

  • Generated imagery may contain visual, typographic, masking, or temporal artifacts and requires review.
  • Direct export, attachment, and exact file-naming capability depend on the active ChatGPT and Runway tool environment.
  • The photoreal image is restricted to interior room voids; it is not intended for full-building photoreal rendering.
  • Output does not verify dimensions, specifications, code, detailing, performance, coordination, cost, or buildability.
  • Runway access is needed for Final.mp4 and video iterations may be required to resolve motion artifacts.

06

Security + quality

Declared permissions

  • Use uploaded section drawings and interior references only when you have the necessary rights and project permissions.
  • Review generated imagery before publication, client issue, or project use.
  • Do not use outputs as construction documents or as evidence of technical compliance.

Completion checks

  • Preserve or generate coherent roof, wall, glazing, and floor geometry.
  • Clip all photo content strictly to interior room voids.
  • Keep linework, leaders, and labels crisp above the photo layer.
  • For generated linework, verify exactly 11 uppercase callouts, spelling, leader attachment, and legibility.
  • Exclude dimensions, ticks, numeric measurements, bubbles, detail/elevation markers, and reference tags.
  • Check interior realism for scale, artifacts, duplicated props, and CGI appearance.
  • For video, verify locked camera and static linework across all frames.
  • Verify Preview.jpg, Final.jpg, and optional Final.mp4 filenames.

FAQ + support + changelog

Can I use my own section drawing?

Yes. Set `linework_source` to `upload` and attach the drawing. The prompt treats it as a static foreground source and limits the photograph to the identified room voids.

What annotation controls are included?

No. When linework is generated, the prompt requires exactly 11 specified uppercase callouts with leaders and prohibits dimensions, numeric measurements, ticks, detail/elevation markers, bubbles, and reference tags.

How does the optional video work?

Set `deliverable_mode` to `still_and_video`. The prompt uses Runway Gen-4.5 Image-to-Video at 3:4 for a 4–6 second locked-off clip, animating only the interior beneath static linework.

Does this verify the section or construction assemblies?

No. It is a visualization workflow. An architect should review geometry, assembly intent, labels, and appropriateness before any design, technical, publication, or construction use.
